An exciting opportunity has opened up within our growing Professional Services practice for a passionate and motivated Storage & Virtualisation Consultant.
In this role you will be responsible for analysing requirements, producing solution designs, implementation, troubleshooting & optimisation of infrastructure solutions across multiple client environments.
Responsibilities
* Analyze customer requirements and provide infrastructure design recommendations aligned with business and technical objectives.
* Deliver infrastructure solutions across multiple client environments covering Server/OS (Dell, Cisco, HPE), Storage (Dell EMC, HPE), Virtualisation/HCI (VMware, Hyper‐V, Nutanix), Data Centre replication, and Backup/Recovery (Veeam, Commvault).
* Produce high‐quality technical documentation, including low‐level designs, implementation guides, migration runbooks, and operational handovers.
* Assist with pre‐sales activities, including solution architecture, scope development, workshops, and technical presentations.
* Collaborate closely with project teams while maintaining the ability to drive outcomes autonomously.
About You
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a customer‐facing technical role delivering enterprise compute, storage, and virtualisation solutions.
* Proven experience conducting technical workshops and presentations for stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong troubleshooting, problem‐solving, and written/verbal communication skills.
* Highly regarded exposure to public cloud (Microsoft Azure / AWS) and LAN Networking (Cisco, Aruba, or Dell ToR Switching).
Qualifications & Certifications
* Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in an IT‐related discipline (desirable).
* Hold or be prepared to obtain key vendor certifications (e.g., Dell EMC, Veeam, VMware).
* Ideally hold, or have the ability to obtain, a current Australian Department of Defence security clearance.
