- Deliver configuration and customisation discussions in consultation across business end‑user stakeholders.

About the Role
As the Principal SAP Functional Analyst, Logistics you will:
- Work within the SAP Business Support Unit, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team supporting the department's SAP instance covering FICO (GL, CO, AA, AR, AP), Investment Management, MM, PM, PS, and BW/BI modules.
- Research, analyse, evaluate and provide advice on business and systems requirements and support the solution to achieve objectives of the SAP Support Unit within the department.
- Report to the Manager, SAP Functional Team, Financial Business Systems, Financial Services, Finance, Procurement and Facilities, Corporate and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Service.
Experience and Skills
Successful applicants will be assessed on their demonstrated work experience and skills to undertake the following core role duties:
- Design, configure, test, deploy and support SAP functionality for Plant Maintenance (PM) and Enterprise Asset Management.
- Provide SAP functional consulting across Enterprise Asset Management and Plant Maintenance and support the department and transfer SAP knowledge to the wider support team as required.
- Strong ability to understand business processes, recommend options and implement solutions to enhance business performance and reform processes.
- Provide functional expertise, guidance and training to end users as required.
- Translate business needs into well written, unambiguous functional requirements and deliver business requirements using standard SAP functionality.
- Liaise, consult and negotiate effectively with support stakeholders and team members regarding support activities.
- Work independently when required to achieve agreed outcomes.
- Assist in building working relationships with clients through effective communication skills.
- Assist in development and implementation of quality support related processes and procedures to ensure a high‑quality outcome for clients of the support unit.
Highly desirable attributes
- Minimum of 2 years proven experience in SAP implementations.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA and supporting transitions from SAP ERP6 to S/4HANA.
- SAP certification and/or minimum 5 years proven experience in one or more of Enterprise Asset Management and Plant Maintenance SAP modules.
- Experience in projects managed under PRINCE2, ITSM change framework or AGILE.
