Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Practice Lead – Workers Compensation & Injury Management (WC & IM) to lead and grow our WC & IM practice.
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior professional who thrives on leadership, client relationships, strategic thinking and mentoring high-performing teams.
About the Role
As the Practice Lead – WC & IM, you will lead the operational performance, service delivery and growth of the practice area while supporting and developing a team of consultants.
You will be a member of the Leadership Team to help drive strategy, strengthen client relationships and ensure excellence in service delivery and compliance outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and mentoring the WC & IM team
* Managing practice performance, utilisation and profitability
* Driving business development and identifying growth opportunitiesOverseeing quality assurance and legislative compliance
* Providing strategic advice to clients across injury management and workers compensation
* Managing complex client matters and escalations
* Building strong relationships with clients, insurers and stakeholders
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence
* Embedding Risk Strategies' values into team culture and client service delivery
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* Significant experience in Workers Compensation & Injury Management leadership roles
* Strong knowledge of Victorian workers compensation legislation and injury management frameworks
* Experience managing teams in a consulting or professional services environment
* Commercial acumen with the ability to drive performance and growth
* Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
* A collaborative and solutions-focused approach
* Strong organisational and leadership capabilities
* Passion for mentoring and developing people
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
