What the Role Offers You
This is your opportunity to manage a portfolio of SME clients with the support of administrative resources—freeing you up to focus on delivering exceptional service, building long-term relationships, and expanding your portfolio.
In this role, you will:
* Manage a diverse mix of insurance needs including SME Package, Property, Liability, Commercial Motor, Fleet, Financial Lines, and Retail.
* Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with your clients.
* Maintain high compliance standards with professionalism and ease.
* Seek out and secure new business opportunities with confidence.
This role is aligned to mid-large clientele with more complex insurance needs, requiring strong attention to detail, efficient time management, and the ability to balance competing priorities. You will report directly to Senior Brokers and the wider leadership team, playing an important role in helping grow the performance of the Shepparton branch through the development of an existing book of business, new business opportunities and by the mentoring/development of other staff in the branch.
What You Bring to the Team
We're looking for a motivated professional with a proven track record in broking and a passion for client success.
You'll have:
* Experience in commercial insurance broking or transferrable skills from related fields such as client/portfolio manager, law, banking/financial services, mortgage or finance broking etc. will be strongly considered
* Tier 1 or Diploma qualifications in Insurance Broking are ideal – however, training and qualifications will be provided as required, with completion obligatory for this level.
* A strong business development drive and a commitment to achieving results.
* Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
* A proactive, self-driven attitude and a dedication to delivering real value to clients.
