About the Opportunity
Assist senior chefs with the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, utilising your skills and experience. You will be responsible for ensuring that your section and team operates to optimum efficiency by organising, supporting and coaching the team to Lucas Restaurants' standards. You will be a passionate and highly energetic hospitality professional.
Ideal Candidate Must Have
* Demonstrated experience as a Chef de Partie in a premium, a‐la‐carte restaurant
* Pasta experience essential
* Exceptional communication
* Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and lead a team
* Understanding of Food Safety and OH&S standards and compliance
* Experience in effectively maintaining and managing set‐ups, changeovers, closedown, and handover to standard
* Knowledge and ability to use correct techniques and follow procedures and recipes when preparing and cooking menu items
* Excellent attention to detail
* Outstanding time management during preparation and service periods
* Calm and composed demeanour
* Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience
