Persol is a leading recruitment provider in Australia, specialising in professional talent. We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our Asset Analysis & Modelling team.
Data Engineering
This role involves designing high-quality data models and pipelines using Snowflake SQL, Python, and SAP data structures. You will collaborate with technology teams and external developers to develop smooth data integration between front-end and back-end systems.
* Develop and maintain Snowflake SQL data models and pipelines supporting asset performance analytics.
* Clean, transform, and validate SAP maintenance, materials, and operational datasets for component reliability and lifecycle analysis.
* Develop reports to support subject matter expert review and user data validation.
* Collaborate with technology teams and application developers to enable efficient data access between systems.
* Drive continuous improvement in data quality through investigation, testing, and proactive issue resolution.
* Use version control tools like GitHub for collaborative development.
* Maintain documentation and governance across analytical systems.
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
* Strong proficiency with SQL Server / Snowflake and data modelling, transformation, and automation.
* Proven experience working with SAP PM/CMMS data is desirable.
* Proficiency with Python and Microsoft PowerBI is desirable.
