Senior Health Professional – Mental Health
This is a Permanent Full Time appointment.
Location: Geraldton, ACT (Acute Psychiatric Unit).
Responsibilities
Independently coordinates the development, implementation and review of clinical education programs across the Midwest Mental Health and Community Alcohol & Drug Service to align governance requirements with clinical practice. Supports the orientation of new staff with a focus on evidence‐based care, identifies and facilitates relevant clinical education opportunities, audits compliance with governance processes and mandatory training requirements, and provides advice to the management committee on service gaps and resource requirements to support high‐quality service delivery.
Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants must have a valid working visa (fixed‐term) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or visa holder with permission to live and work indefinitely in Australia. Candidates must also be willing to undergo a criminal records screening, integrity check, and a working with children check (if required), as well as a pre‐employment health assessment.
