The Finance Manager ANZ is responsible for managing the region's cash, liquidity, and financial risk (incl. FX), ensuring that financial assets (notably working capital) are utilized efficiently and in line with corporate goals. The role reports to the Head of Accounting and Audit ANZ and works with Group, Regional and Country organizations to oversee daily and monthly reporting activities in line with Group requirements and timelines, secure smooth year‐end processes, and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements.
Reporting
* Prepare the full set of reporting for the assigned perimeter (NextGen Distribution).
* Prepare and provide all payroll‐related reports to Management for validation and to Group for reporting analysis.
* Review monthly accruals and adjust if necessary.
* Provide management with variance analyses and comments.
* Maintain and update current ERP, adapting to new Group requirements as needed.
* Closely monitor FX exposure and FX trade portfolio and request new trades if necessary.
Audit / Financial Statements
* Actively participate in the year‐end closing process, including reporting preparation, balance‐sheet review, audit liaison, tax package preparation, and follow‐up with various consultants (tax, financial statements preparation).
Ad hoc Projects
* Assist in building customized analyses.
* ERP update / upgrade both local and group.
* Other related duties assigned as needed.
* Sporadically support other finance sub‐departments when required.
Qualifications
* Strong experience working in reporting and accounting.
* Team‐player with the ability to work with cross‐functional stakeholders.
* Proven leadership skills working with virtual teams or stakeholders, coordinating with regional and country teams while maintaining a hands‐on approach.
* Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and financial analysis.
* Strong knowledge of treasury management systems (TMS), ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
* A self‐starter, analytical, team player able to prioritize work toward tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English (spoken and written).
* This role is a 12‐month fixed‐term contract.
