Job Overview
Flight Centre is looking for a Sales Travel Consultant based in Queensland. The role is full‐time, on‐site in a retail store and is a rotating roster across a 7‐day trade.
Responsibilities
* Plan itineraries, book travel and convert enquiries into bookings in person, over the phone and via email.
* Work towards individual KPIs and sales targets, selling holidays that include flights, accommodation, car hire, tours, travel insurance, cruises, transfers and more.
* Build a customer base of new and returning customers, ranging from domestic bookings to international holidays.
* Act as the travel expert, assisting customers with questions about visas, best times to travel, packing, dining, and other travel advice.
* Earn a base wage plus an uncapped incentive structure, receiving a percentage of every sale.
Qualifications
* Seasoned traveller with a history of international destinations and a strong travel recommendation network.
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage calendars and respond promptly to calls and emails.
* Determination to meet sales targets and KPIs while balancing workload in a high‐pressure environment.
* Enthusiasm, passion and warmth that encourages customers to book with you.
* Proficiency with computers, able to toggle between complex systems to find the best flight and package options.

Competitive compensation including a wage boost to $65,000 equivalent for the first 90 days and potential average earnings of $70,000 in the first year, $100,000 for senior consultants, and $138,000 for team leaders.
