Store Person – Kalgoorlie Branch
Location: Kalgoorlie (7am – 3.30pm). Permanent opportunity. Opportunities for growth in a family‐oriented, industry‐leading, energy and renewables company.
Responsibilities
1. Maintain a clean and organised warehouse.
2. Manage stock control, inventory stock records, and cycle counts/annual stock takes.
3. Assess supply needs and arrange additional supplies.
4. Receive, check, and record incoming stock items; identify damaged or incorrect goods.
5. Load and unload incoming/outgoing goods.
6. Conduct stock takes for procurement and mark stock items.
7. Assist with logistics of incoming/outgoing goods.
8. Collaborate with all UON departments to achieve company goals.
9. Adhere to QA procedures and HSE compliance.
10. Maintain a safe and clean workplace and follow all company policies, including HR, QA, SHE.
11. Participate in continuous improvement programs.
12. Coordinate consolidation of goods and preparation for dispatch to site, including quarantine requirements and packaging.
13. Maintain registers of all paperwork and goods related to acquisition, mobilisation, transportation and tracking.
Qualifications
14. Forklift ticket.
15. Current and valid driver's licence, Class C (manual).
16. Current and valid load restraint training (Secure Cargo & Load and Unload Goods/Cargo).
17. Minimum 2 years' experience in a stores/warehouse environment (desirable).
18. Experience in a similar role and picking/packing orders.
19. HR licence (preferred).
20. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
21. Positive attitude and willingness to get the job done.
22. Computer skills and good communication.
23. Ability to maintain accurate records and lift/move items.
24. Strong organisational skills with process stock transfers.
25. Experience with goods receipt and initial quantity and quality inspection.
