EOI Systems Engineering
RPS, a Tetra Tech company, is seeking Defence capability professionals with strong interpersonal and technical skills. The roles are full-time permanent roles and will support our clients and teams in planning and delivering major, complex Defence capability projects. Skills we are seeking are Systems Engineering, Safety Systems Engineering, and Systems Test and Evaluation.
Key skillsets include
- Systems engineering
- Defence capability acquisition / support
- SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)
- Integrated Logistics Support
Key responsibilities
- Deliver services for large Defence projects and programs, especially SAP in support of aircraft or maritime platforms
- Apply knowledge and experience to identify risks and uncertainties and take these into account in planning, decision making and priority setting
- Provide advice and develop reports and other data visualisations to support data led decision making
- Prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Work independently through unstructured tasks
- Develop and maintain relationships with new clients and enhance existing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Exercise strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills
- Exercise strong interpersonal skills as well as written and verbal communication skills.
About you
- 3+ years’ experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent experience/training
- Australian Citizen able to successfully obtain and maintain an Australian Government Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) security clearance
- Prior experience working on Defence capability projects is highly regarded
- Strong team player who enjoys working in a team environment.
