About the role
A lecturer's primary role is to teach, facilitate learning and conduct assessment in traditional, contemporary and industry-relevant ways to a diverse range of students. Lecturers will also be involved in supporting industry engagement, providing information to prospective students and employers, and promoting training pathways within the hospitality and commercial cookery sector.
To support this process, the TAFE environment offers comprehensive industry-based Training Packages and an underpinning quality system that provides a framework for delivery, assessment and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* Certificate III Commercial Cookery, Certificate III Hospitality or above (or equivalent).
* At least 5 years of vocational or lecturing experience relevant to this position and ability to facilitate and encourage learning.
* Possibly required to hold Australian or Australian equivalent qualification(s). If qualification obtained overseas, overseas qualifications unit offers free assessment service for recognition.
