Bright Steps Academy is excited to announce the opening of our brand-new Horsham Centre, and we're seeking a passionate and motivated Assistant Centre Director (2IC) to join our leadership team. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a new, high-quality early learning service — one that makes a lasting difference for children, families, and educators.

Our brand-new Horsham Centre will provide a nurturing, inspiring environment for children aged 0 to 6 years — a place where they can explore, learn, and grow. We partner with families to create a warm, inclusive space where every child is respected, supported, and encouraged to shine.

About the Role

As the Assistant Centre Director (2IC), you'll play a key leadership role in supporting the Centre Director to ensure the smooth, high-quality operation of our service.

Your Responsibilities

* Support the Centre Director with daily operations, compliance, and staff leadership.
* Mentor and inspire educators to deliver engaging, play-based learning programs.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with families, staff, and the wider community.
* Assist with rostering, enrolments, administration, and centre management.
* Uphold Bright Steps Academy's commitment to child safety and wellbeing.

About You

You're an enthusiastic and dedicated early childhood professional who is ready to step up and take on a leadership challenge in a new and supportive environment.

What You'll Bring

* Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved).
* Experience in a senior educator or leadership role (or readiness to step into one).
* Strong understanding of NQF, EYLF, and compliance standards.
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
* A genuine passion for building positive, inclusive, and high-quality early learning environments.
