Now, we're looking for an Applications and Integration Developer to join our IT team and play a key role in supporting the ongoing development, maintenance and improvement of enterprise applications and integrations.
About the Role
Collaborating closely with stakeholders and the IT team, you will be responsible for application enhancements, automation, and integration development to deliver solutions that support business growth, enhance user experience, and optimise operational efficiency.
Your curious nature and willingness to learn combined with astute technical skills will ensure we can solve complex business problems effectively and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Support the development, maintenance and improvement of enterprise integrations
* Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across business systems
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to support integration requirements
* Ensure integrations are reliable, scalable and well documentedCollaborate with other IT teams to implement new application systems
* Deliver enhancements and improvements to enterprise applications
* Assist with workflow automation, artificial intelligence and process optimisation initiatives
* Ensure application and integration security best practices and compliance with regulatory requirements
* Assist with testing, deployment and release activities
What We're Looking For
* 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on integrations
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred
* Demonstrated experience with Workato and MuleSoft integrations preferred
* Hands-on experience with a variety of programming languages, frameworks, and technologies relevant to application development (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, Node.js, React)
* Experience with data migration or ETL activities
* Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors comprehensive understanding of microservices architecture, API management and middleware platforms, in particular Workato and MuleSoft
* Knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, and DevOps – including CI/CD pipelines
* Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements relevant to application architecture and development
* Understanding of security principles and best practices in application architecture and design
