Marsh Risk is seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate and Commercial team. This role will be based in our Darwin office and requires a hybrid schedule with at least three days in the office.
Responsibilities
* Effectively advise, manage and maintain a client portfolio of moderate to large accounts, attending to outstanding renewals, credit control, and other necessary reporting over the client portfolio.
* Take ownership of your own client revenue, budgets and develop a strong financial literacy, understanding financial targets and the financial reporting process.
* Implement renewal and broking strategies based on client requirements to contribute to the retention and growth of the client portfolio.
* Develop and maintain effective client relationships by understanding their needs and proactively responding as a primary or point of contact.
* Actively seek new and expanded business opportunities and build strong relationships with key partners to grow the business.
* Be a team player, drive collaboration and effectively engage with junior colleagues and across the broader Marsh segments to add value to clients.
* Be creative, explore new ways of completing tasks to deliver quality and results.
Qualifications
* Experience managing small SME clients.
* Demonstrated experience in the insurance industry.
* Negotiation and problem‐solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Motivation for client service and solutions.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Preferred
* Tier1 FSRA qualification.
* Knowledge of account management and the insurance industry.
* Dedication to high‐level client service.
* Ability to thrive in a fast‐paced environment.
