Practice Overview
Ochre Health Coonamble practice comes with several well‐equipped consultation rooms, a treatment room, a procedure room and on‐site pathology. Our clinic operates from 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday. The medical centre is AGPAL accredited and is a bulk billing practice. The practice also provides VMO support to nearby Coonamble Hospital (MPS). Coonamble Hospital is equipped with 3 emergency beds, 8 acute care beds and an 18‐bed residential aged care facility.
On‐call Rotations
Coonamble hospital runs a three‐doctor model roster, where doctors spend on average 120 days on call per year. When on call, you will start a morning ward round then later that morning work at the clinic, a two‐minute drive away. Your on‐call responsibilities cover all emergency presentations between 8 am and 6 pm. After 6 pm and on weekends you are responsible only for emergency category 1 & 2 presentations. The medical centre is not open on weekends.

Requirements
* AHPRA General Registration or FRACGP/ FACRRM (Vocational Registration)
* Previous General Practice experience or current emergency certification (ALS2 or equivalent) / Emergency experience
* Work can either be part-time or full-time, whichever best supports your career aspirations
