This role is located within the Critical Services team, this team will manage the delivery of critical services contracts, such as lifts, security and CCTV and fire alarm monitoring. Key activities include Security Report monitoring, managing technical aspects of Lift Maintenance Services, Lift Registration, analysis and actions of monthly reports, off charging from Report information and analysis.

The purpose of this role is to assist in managing and implementing a range of critical service-related projects across Housing Portfolio to support and improve service delivery and optimise outcomes in portfolio performance and maintenance delivery.

**What you’ll do**

As the Assistant Project Officer within the Critical Services Contracts team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of the Critical Services contract across Housing Portfolio.

Your responsibilities include assisting in managing a variety of projects, overseeing their operational aspects such as planning and issuing work orders, monitoring project plans, coordinating resources, database management and managing deliverables and tasks. You'll also contribute to research and analysis to support the development of key projects, focusing on enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of service delivery within the Housing Portfolio. You will be responsible to draw and review the financial reports for the accuracy and prepare a conclusive report for the manager to review a budget performance of the program.

Providing operational advice and communication to stakeholders regarding project status and implementation issues will be essential, along with analysing issues to recommend appropriate solutions within delegation and context. Additionally, you'll assist in preparing various project-related documents, procurement engagements, including briefing notes, status updates, reports, budgets, and discussion papers.

Utilising and implementing project management methodologies and processes in all projects will be integral to your role, ensuring successful project outcomes and alignment with organisational objectives.

**What we’re looking for**
- Understanding of project management practices.
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline are preferable and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
