Job Title: Operations Excellence Lead
We are seeking an experienced Operations Excellence Lead to drive the optimization and innovation of our manufacturing operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading planning, design, and implementation of process improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, and reliability.
This is a challenging role that requires strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Experience with EPS and cement-based production is essential.
* About the Role:
1. Develop and implement strategies to improve operational performance, productivity, and quality.
2. Conduct thorough analysis of operational data, production schedules, and resource allocation to identify areas for improvement.
3. Design, construct, and modify plant equipment and layouts to support business growth and sustainability objectives.
4. Establish and maintain standards, policies, and procedures in line with engineering principles, quality assurance requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
5. Lead projects related to new plant designs, system upgrades, and equipment integrations.
6. Maintain optimal performance of plant infrastructure, machinery, and facilities through effective maintenance activities.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in production processes.
8. E nsure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Production Engineering.
* Minimum 5+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing environment, with strong focus on EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) and cement-based production processes.
* Demonstrated expertise in plant design, process optimization, and large-scale project delivery.
* Advanced proficiency in MS Office and relevant engineering design software.
* Knowledge in project management, including planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination.
* Registration or licensing as Professional Engineer (preferred).
* Australia/New Zealand permanent residency or citizenship.
