Job Summary
We seek an experienced and motivated Software Tester to join our team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have experience with manual and automation testing and a strong understanding of Agile methodologies. As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through rigorous testing.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and execute software test plans and cases.
* Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and ensure software quality.
* Use industry-standard software testing tools such as ServiceNow, MQC, Quick Test Professional (QTP), Jira, Confluence, etc.
* Conduct manual testing, as well as automated testing using tools such as Selenium and Cypress.
* Ensure software meets non-functional requirements, including usability and accessibility testing.
* Test mobile and desktop applications, such as Android, iOS, and Windows.
* Debug, isolate, and report software defects to the development team.
* Follow Agile methodologies and participate in Agile ceremonies.
* Stay up to date with the latest testing tools and techniques.
Requirements
* Degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
* 3+ years of experience as a software tester.
* Strong experience with manual and automated testing tools like Selenium and Cypress.
* Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Agile ceremonies.
* Experience with Cloud platforms, such as AWS and Azure.
* Knowledge of GUI or front-end web testing. Experience with non-functional testing, such as usability and accessibility testing.
* Knowledge of testing mobile or desktop applications, such as Android, iOS, and Windows.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to commute or relocate to Sydney before starting work.
