About JD Vanguard Logistics Future Leaders Program
JD Vanguard Program is a strategic talent supply chain project of JD.com, aiming to build a team of young talent embodying the JD spirit and deeply rooted in frontline operations. With the phased goal of cultivating grassroots managers, it ultimately nurtures mid-level managers who understand frontline operations and can drive strategic implementation. With the rapid growth of logistics operations, the JD Vanguard Program is planned to be launched to build frontline talent reserves for JD Logistics.
Job Responsibilities
* Monitor and inspect incoming goods, verifying compliance with quality standards, specifications, and documentation (e.g., invoices, purchase orders) to ensure accuracy in quantity, condition, and labeling.
* Conduct regular audits of warehouse storage areas, checking for proper handling, storage conditions (e.g., temperature, humidity), and adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.
* Inspect outgoing shipments to confirm product integrity, correct packaging, and accurate labeling, minimizing the risk of defects or errors during delivery.
* Develop and implement quality control checklists and procedures to standardize inspection processes across receiving, storage, and shipping operations.
* Track and analyze quality-related data (e.g., defect rates, non-conformities, customer complaints) to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with warehouse teams, suppliers, and logistics partners to resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
* Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and corrective measures, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
* Train warehouse staff on quality control procedures, emphasizing the importance of accuracy and adherence to standards in daily operations.
Job Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, quality management, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards) and warehouse safety regulations.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects, discrepancies, or non-conformities in products and processes.
* Strong analytical skills to interpret quality data, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to collaborate with warehouse teams, suppliers, and cross-functional departments.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing operational needs.
* Chinese and English language skills are a plus.
