Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Community Occupational Therapist role located in Grafton, NSW. The Occupational Therapist will collaborate with individuals with disabilities, their families, and support teams to develop and implement tailored therapeutic interventions. Key tasks include conducting assessments, designing and delivering therapy programs, prescribing assistive equipment, and supporting community participation. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation and contributing to multidisciplinary care plans to ensure optimal client outcomes.
Qualifications
* Comprehensive knowledge and skills in occupational therapy, including assessment, intervention planning, and therapeutic techniques
* Experience supporting individuals with disabilities, with expertise in person-centered approaches and promoting community involvement
* Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and with clients and their families
* Administrative competencies, including maintaining clinical records and preparing reports
* Relevant qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Current and valid driver's license
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
