The Opportunity Take charge of a close-knit fabrication branch in Edinburgh North. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee daily operations, support your team, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
What You’ll Do
Manage end-to-end branch operations — fabrication, scheduling, procurement, budgets, and client service.
Lead and mentor a small workshop team, fostering a safe, cooperative, and high-performance culture.
Oversee inventory, suppliers, and workflow to maintain seamless project delivery.
Track performance metrics, financials, and reporting to support continuous improvement.
Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and the wider management team.
What You’ll Bring
3–5 years’ leadership experience in steel fabrication or related manufacturing.
Practical understanding of welding, fabrication standards, and workshop processes.
Proven ability to lead from the front — hands-on, solutions-focused, and approachable.
Solid commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and KPIs.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
