Senior Engineer – Drainage & Flooding Queensland (Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast)
This role is ideal for an experienced drainage specialist with strong technical capability in 12D and a proven background delivering drainage and flooding design for major road and/or rail infrastructure projects. You will provide specialist technical input, lead design packages, and support multidisciplinary project teams across significant transport programs in Queensland and nationally.
What You’ll Bring
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent discipline).
* 7–15 years’ experience in drainage and flooding design, ideally within a consultancy environment.
* Advanced capability with 12D, including hydrology, hydraulic modelling, and drainage design workflows.
* Strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards, Austroads guidelines, and TMR requirements.
* Demonstrated experience delivering projects to client scope, budget, and timeframes.
* Ability to prepare high‑quality technical reports with minimal review.
* Experience working within multidisciplinary teams across major transport projects.
* Willingness to undertake occasional travel as project needs arise.
