We are seeking a full-time OR part-time Primary Teacher's Assistant to work during term time. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with a team of collegiate educators and wonderful Primary School students where the focus is on the whole person. Key Selection Criteria:
The successful candidate must:
have attained a minimum qualification of Certificate III in Education Support (CHC30213)(required)
show a sound understanding of the NSW Australian primary curriculum(required)
understand the principles and practices of Steiner education, or show a willingness to learn
demonstrate a high level of competence in making adjustments for students who need support
have hands on experience or understanding of working with neurodivergent children in an educational setting, with a nurturing and inclusive approach
demonstrate a sound understanding of differentiation practices and is skilled in applying these understandings
have excellent standards in literacy and numeracy
have an excellent command of spoken English
have a minimum of one year's experience in working in schools
work well as part of a team and communicate well with colleagues
Take initiative and be flexible, but also take direction from teachers as required
