Senior Civil Engineer – Melbourne Water Team

This is more than a delivery role — it’s an opportunity to step into a technical leadership position, mentor and uplift junior engineers, influence how we grow and shape our team capability, and work across a national network. Key Responsibilities
Lead the civil design and delivery of water infrastructure projects. Provide technical oversight across pipelines and treatment assets. Support projects across their full lifecycle — from concept design through to detailed design and Design & Construct delivery. Mentor and develop junior engineers. Work with clients, building strong and trusted relationships. Contribute to bids, proposals and business development. Collaborate across interstate teams (VIC, SA, QLD, WA) to deliver integrated solutions. Drive technical excellence and continuously improve delivery standards. Qualifications
6+ years of experience in civil engineering. Strong background in water infrastructure (treatment and supply infrastructure). Experience in a consulting or project delivery environment. Proven ability to mentor engineers. Experience working on multidisciplinary projects. Registrations & experience: Chartered Engineer (CPEng) / RPEV RPEQ (highly regarded). Benefits
