SGS Australia is looking for a Level 2 IT Support Analyst to join our Perth team, working five days a week in a fast‐paced operational environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing timely, high‐quality support to end users and maintaining IT service standards.
Location: Perth, WA.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide Level 2 support for moderate complexity technical issues escalated from the Global Service Desk and end users
* Deliver high‐quality customer service to the Australia end‐user community
* Evaluate user needs, diagnose technical issues, and implement effective solutions
* Coordinate with local, regional, and global IT teams and vendors to resolve incidents
* Troubleshoot general end‐user desktop IT issues
* Resolve IT peripheral issues (printers, cabling, conferencing systems, Wi‐Fi, LAN connectivity, patching)
* Conduct site reviews and maintain documentation
* Perform hardware/software installation, imaging, and configuration (Windows OS and protocols)
* Manage Active Directory access and permissions
* Support vendor technologies and networking appliances
* Provide support for mobile devices
* Track, monitor, and communicate progress of incidents using ServiceNow
* Provide urgent IT support to VIP staff and laboratory operations when required
* Prioritise and triage tickets based on severity
* Contribute to IT projects and business initiatives
Required Qualifications
* Proven experience in an IT support / support engineer role
* Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues both onsite and remotely
* Experience supporting desktop environments, networks, and end‐user technologies
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast‐paced operational environment
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

The salary for this position is between $60,000 and $70,000 per annum.
