Higgins Coatings is Australia's premier commercial painting contractor, providing complete painting maintenance service and solutions to a broad range of industries. Due to growth, we are seeking an experienced Foreperson Painter to join our Geelong team.
The Role
* Work closely with the Project Manager to develop a clear understanding of each project and deliver projects on‐time, within scope, within budget, safely.
* Coordinate employees and equipment/materials.
* Supervise employees and apprentices.
* Ensure work is completed safely – e.g., conduct toolbox talks, update risk assessment and ensure correct PPE is worn.
What you need to succeed
* Trade qualified painter with commercial painting experience.
* EWP licenses are desirable.
* Experience in managing small painting teams.
* A strong focus on safety, including using online safety systems.
