About The Role
We have several permanent opportunities within the commercial insurance space for Senior Business Analysts.
Location
Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane.
Ideally You Will Have
* Commercial insurance experience
* Operational transformation experience (lead or contribute to significant changes in how a business operates, particularly through modernisation, digitisation, and efficiency improvements)
* Experience across end-to-end policy administration systems
* Led through change in a high tempo environment
* Strong stakeholder management
* Demonstrated usage of AI to speed up delivery velocity
What You'll Do
* Work closely with the Program Manager, Product Owner and key Business stakeholders to undertake discovery and delivery on system‐led operational transformation
* Build and manage key stakeholder relationships and expectations through change including third‐party vendors
* Document current and future state processes and identify opportunities to mitigate risk
* Use information gathering techniques to proactively discover requirements and synthesize information accurately, completely, and coherently
* Work collaboratively with delivery teams and business stakeholders to gather, validate and document business requirements and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs
* Raise, support mitigation, and resolution of risks and issues using established tools and frameworks where applicable
* Create detailed user stories to support delivery
* Leverage AI tools to gain efficiency and effectiveness in speed to deliver
* Work close with squad/project members, including but not limited to Delivery Lead, Scrum Master, Developers, Tech Leads, and Business stakeholders to identify, capture, plan and deliver the scope of work
* Work in an Agile continuous delivery environment and be responsible for analysing and documenting requirements, facilitating workshops and design solution sessions
What You'll Bring
* Minimum 5+ years' Senior Business Analysis experience within a corporate environment
* Commercial Insurance experience is highly regarded; either workers' comp, AI or operational transformation experience preferred
* Minimum 3 years' Agile, Lean and waterfall experience including knowledge of Agile practices, workshops, and Agile ceremonies facilitation
* Must be able to translate and understand business and technical requirements and provide appropriate alternatives and solutions to meet those requirements
* Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management and influencing skills including experience in dealing with various levels of stakeholders internally and externally
* Strong team player with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and desire to make a difference
* Must be able to manage multiple complex initiatives with competing deadlines, while also working autonomously
