We are a highly regarded construction business delivering complex design & construct (D&C) projects across the commercial and retail sectors, with a strong reputation for quality and delivery, we continue to secure large-scale work and are seeking an experienced General Foreman to join the team.
The Role
Reporting to the Site Manager / Project Manager, you will be responsible for the on-site coordination, supervision and delivery of construction activities, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
You will take ownership of trade coordination, subcontractor performance and day-to-day site operations, playing a key role in delivering complex builds with a focus on quality and programme.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers and site labour to achieve project outcomes
* Oversee day-to-day construction activities including trade sequencing and site logistics
* Implement and drive construction programmes and look-ahead schedules
* Ensure projects are delivered in line with quality, safety and time objectives
* Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with scope, specifications and standards
* Maintain strong site communication with project teams and stakeholders
* Take responsibility for HSE compliance and safe work practices on-site
* Drive a strong focus on quality assurance and defect minimisation
* Support a positive, collaborative and performance-driven site culture
Experience
* Commercial
* Retail
* Suspended structure builds
* Minimum 5+ years' experience in a Foreman / General Foreman role
* Experience in high-quality builds with minimal defects

Qualifications & Requirements
* Trade qualification in a relevant field (preferred)
* Current First Aid Certificate
* Experience with systems such as Procore (desirable)
* Strong understanding of WHS and site compliance
* Current Driver's Licence (mandatory)
