We are a growing Thai restaurant with a strong local reputation and a supportive team setting, currently seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis.
Chef – Full Time (38 hours per week)
Salary: $79,000 plus superannuation
Qualifications:
* At least 2-3 years of experience in the kitchen with relevant qualifications and/or practical kitchen experience.
* Ability to run a team without direct supervision.
* Multi-task a variety of different tasks.
* Have initiative in the kitchen.
* Weekend works availability is a must if required.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and developing menus.
* Supervising kitchen operations and staff.
* Preparing and cooking high-quality Thai cuisine.
* Managing food preparation, stock ordering, and cost control.
* Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene requirements.
