As a Security Officer at Movie World, you'll help create a safe and welcoming environment across our world‐famous properties. You'll be part of a team that ensures the safety and wellbeing of our guests, team members, and attractions, all while being surrounded by the energy and fun of the entertainment industry.
Responsibilities
* Patrol our properties to ensure the safety of guests, team members, and assets.
* Manage access control for visitors and contractors, including gatehouse operations, issuing of keys to correct persons and vehicle checks.
* Respond to incidents and provide assistance to Park Supervisors and Managers as required.
* Ensure safety of team members and guests and provide conflict resolution.
* Handle emergency procedures and act as the communication point for the Emergency Response Team.
Qualifications
* A current Unarmed Security License (including Provide First Aid and Crowd Control modules).
* Blue Card (Please be advised that the cost of a Blue Card is currently $104.70, however, VRTP will reimburse employees who successfully complete three months of service).
* RSA certificate (essential).
* A current unrestricted Driver's License.
* Security Monitoring qualification will be highly regarded.
* Intermediate computer skills required.
* Availability to work any day including nights, weekends and school holidays.
* A willingness to obtain Provide Advanced Resuscitation Techniques (we'll assist with booking and will cover the cost!).
