Notional day for the role: you will work closely with people across the business, helping them understand risks and make confident decisions. You may run risk workshops, review control effectiveness, or investigate incidents to prevent recurrence. Your work turns risk insights into actionable guidance for leaders and governance forums, ensuring risk processes remain practical, fit‐for‐purpose and continuously improved.
About the Role
This position supports PEXA in managing risk effectively while driving continued growth and innovation. You will act as a trusted partner to the business, providing guidance on risk and compliance, strengthening frameworks, and ensuring alignment with our risk appetite and regulatory obligations.
Key Capabilities
* Strong risk and compliance expertise within regulated environments
* Ability to influence, challenge, and partner with stakeholders
* Critical thinking and sound judgement
* Experience in assurance activities such as control testing and audit coordination
* Clear communication and ability to translate risk into actionable insights

* Risk frameworks and processes are embedded, understood, and consistently applied
* Meaningful risk insights are delivered to leadership and governance forums

* Risk incidents and issues are well‐managed, with strong remediation and continuous improvement
