Customer First Contracting is seeking a skilled Plumber to join our maintenance team. This is a residential role based in Newman, offering stable hours, strong team culture, and diverse work across construction, maintenance, and mining operations throughout the Pilbara.
Requirements
* Trade‐qualified Plumber—Current WA plumbing licence (or willing to obtain)
* National Police Clearance within 6 months or willing to obtain
* Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol screen
* Full, unrestricted Australian working rights
* Strong problem‐solving ability and safety focus
* Strong understanding and demonstration of safety procedures and SWMS
* Ability to access all major mining operations across the Pilbara
* Forklift licence—highly desirable
* S.26—highly desirable, or willingness to complete
* A genuine appetite to step into leadership roles as the business grows
* Gas fitting qualification advantageous
* Machinery tickets advantageous
Your Responsibilities
* Maintenance and installation of plumbing systems
* Fault‐finding and repairs
* Compliance with plumbing regulations and site safety
* Working across varied client sites including residential, commercial, and mining
* Participation in a rotating on‐call roster (additional remuneration applies)
* Follow all site rules, SWMS, and company procedures
* Able to work / drive remotely individually and in pairs (satellite phone provided)
* 40–50 hours per week (final roster to be confirmed with supervisors)
