Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team in Mount Gambier. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities for various work centers.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement short- and long-term maintenance plans
* Partner with stakeholders to ensure optimal availability and utilisation of equipment
* Lead data collection processes for major equipment failures or improvement opportunities
* Ensure work areas meet safety standards
* Prepare weekly and daily equipment plans using a strategic approach
* Work towards targets and deadlines
* Maintain records of equipment detail and component histories
* Analyze progress against planned change out schedules and equipment component remaining life tracking
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Relevant trade or tertiary qualifications (Mechanical or Electrical desirable)
* Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a Planner/Supervisor role
* Experience in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) like Mainpac, Pronto, SAP, Ellipse
* Current driver's license
* High level knowledge of Australian Standards and relevant State and National statutory requirements
* Strong communication and organisational abilities
* Confident problem-solving skills and ability to make critical business decisions
* Goal-oriented with excellent time management and task prioritisation skills
* Positive attitude, eager to learn, and ability to collaborate with diverse teams
