Role Snap Shot
Due to ongoing growth in our client base, we are seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join our Urban Civil Engineering team. In this role, you will support the design and documentation of land development projects, including roads, drainage, sewer, and water infrastructure. If you have a passion for civil design, a solid understanding of Australian Standards, and enjoy collaborating with a dynamic team, we'd love to hear from you.
How You Will Contribute
* Assist in the preparation of detailed civil designs for residential and industrial subdivisions, including roads, stormwater drainage, sewer, and water reticulation.
* Develop functional layouts, earthworks, and service designs using 12D and AutoCAD under the guidance of senior engineers.
* Contribute to the preparation of engineering reports, specifications, and contract documentation for land development projects.
* Ensure designs comply with relevant Australian Standards, council requirements, and client specifications.
* Collaborate with drafters, engineers, and project managers to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.
* Participate in design reviews and adopt sustainable design practices where applicable.
Our Ideal Person
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
* Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent (graduates with 1–3 years' experience encouraged to apply);
* Exposure to land development projects, including residential subdivisions;
* Proficiency in 12D and/or AutoCAD (or willingness to learn);
* Basic understanding of Queensland land development processes and standards;
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
