Your New Role

We’re looking for aManager, Company Secretariat, to play a key leadership role in supporting theBoard, its committees and the broader business ensuring governance isproactive, high-quality and enables confident decision-making. This is a highlyvisible role where you’ll partner closely with the Company Secretary, BoardDirectors and senior executives to deliver best-in-class governance across acomplex, regulated environment.

What you’ll be doing:

* Provide Board and Committee governance, including managing meeting cycles end-to- end, governance reporting and preparing board/committee papers
* Prepare high-quality Board minutes and governance outputs to support effective decision-making and meet regulatory and strategic obligations
* Strengthen and continuously improve governance frameworks, policies, charters and delegations and ensure governance operates effectively across the group
* Monitor legal and regulatory developments and translate them into governance practices
* Lead director onboarding, development and succession programs and Board effectiveness initiatives
* Provide trusted advice to Directors, Committees and senior leaders on governance matters
* Assist with developing the Secretariat team members, driving high standards, capability and performance
* Drive continuous improvement and AI-enabled ways of working to enhance efficiency and quality


How do you exceed our expectations?

You’re a governanceprofessional who combines technical expertise with strong judgement andstakeholder influence.


You’ll bring:

* Significant experience in a company secretariat or governance role (around 5+ years is highly desirable)
* Strong understanding of superannuation governance, trustee obligations and the APRA framework
* Proven ability to operate confidently with Boards, Executives and senior stakeholders
* Excellent drafting skills, particularly for Board papers, minutes and governance documentation
* Strong organisational capability, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
* A collaborative, proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement
* Confidence leveraging digital and AI tools to enhance governance effectiveness
* A background in Law (highly desirable)
