The Role
As Precinct Operations Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations across our world-class precinct. From programming building management systems to consulting with contractors and internal teams, you’ll ensure our facilities are prepped, polished and ready to deliver exceptional event experiences.
You’ll also play a key role on event days—managing helpdesk operations, supporting venue openings, and overseeing internal venue usage—making this the ideal role for someone who enjoys being at the centre of the action.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Coordinating daily operational readiness of the Flemington precinct
* Programming and managing building management systems (BMS) in line with event needs.
* Acting as the operational liaison for race days and events.
* Overseeing contractor engagement and ensuring WH&S compliance.
* Supporting venue set-up, asset maintenance and floorplan implementation.
* Collaborating across departments to ensure seamless event delivery.
What You’ll Bring
* Experience in a venue, event or facility operations environment (desirable, not essential)
* Strong administrative and systems skills, including proficiency with the MSO Suite.
* Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
* Calm under pressure, highly organised and solutions-focused
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
