Event Coordinator Role
The Event Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all events.
* Event Planning & Client Management:
o Act as the primary point of contact for all event enquiries and bookings.
o Conduct venue tours, consultations, and client meetings.
o Guide clients through the planning process, venue policies, timelines, and logistics.
* Operational Execution:
o Coordinate event day operations, ensuring all staff, suppliers, and contractors are briefed and running on schedule.
o Oversee setup and pack-down of ceremonies, receptions, and onsite styling elements.
* Vendor Liaison:
o Build strong professional relationships with stylists, caterers, celebrants, photographers, entertainers, and other suppliers.
o Coordinate supplier access, timing, and venue requirements.
* Administration & Sales:
o Prepare and manage quotes, booking contracts, and invoices.
o Track payments, schedules, and event documentation.
* Team Leadership:
o Lead, train, and supervise event staff and casual assistants.
o Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event reviews.
