Qualifications, Experience & Skills
* Australian accredited 4-year engineering degree.
* 8-12 years of WA iron ore or similar industry experience in High Voltage (HV) and LV systems up to 33kV
* Experience to review vendor technical documents and drawings
* Experience with power system studies including load flow, short circuit and harmonics
* Familiarity Australian and international Standards & codes studies including developing MTOs/Lists
* Familiar with cable sizing and schedule
* Able to work autonomously and communicate effectively with management, co-workers, client and other stakeholders.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems with attention to detail.
* Experience in software design tools such as Smart Plant, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP, SKM PowerTools, CDEGS etc. is desirable.
