The Corporate Administration Officer is an important member of the Corporate Services team and is responsible for providing professional administrative assistance to both corporate and operational areas as required. You will contribute to the efficient running of office(s) and undertake diverse tasks including reception services (welcoming visitors, answering and directing incoming calls, dealing with general enquiries from the public), ordering supplies, travel and accommodation bookings, scheduling meetings and collating meeting papers, providing administrative support to Senior staff and assisting with events and organisational activities.
To be successful you will need
* Prior experience in customer service, reception and general administration.
* Sound oral and written communication skills.
* Well-developed Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) skills and ability to quickly learn new systems.
* Demonstrated ability to maintain administrative records and an aptitude for detail.
* Track record of positive contribution to Teams and ability to navigate workplace communications.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
* Understanding of community services sector and related legislation, regulatory environment and service standards.
* Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and working in culturally safe ways with First Nations people.
Compliance
* Satisfactory outcome of a current (less than 3 months old) National Criminal History Check
* Blue Card (QLD working with children card)
* LSC2 (child safety screening check)
* QLD drivers' licence 'Class C' or interstate equivalent
* Out of hours work may be required from time to time
* Ability (and willingness) to undertake local area / regional travel.
