We're currently recruiting for a Senior Accountant or Assistant Manager to join a growing business advisory and accounting team supporting a diverse portfolio of SME and private business clients. This role offers a strong mix of tax, compliance, advisory and client-facing work, making it ideal for someone looking to step beyond solely production-focused accounting.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity with a hybrid work arrangement. The role offers long-term career development, exposure to larger clients and advisory-focused work, and the opportunity to grow toward future leadership responsibilities.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Prepare and review tax returns, BAS and financial statements
* Support business advisory and tax planning engagements
* Manage client relationships and provide practical financial advice
* Review and support work completed by junior team members
* Work closely with senior leaders across a range of client engagements
Skills and Requirements
* Degree in Accounting, Business or similar
* CA/CPA qualified or working toward completion
* Experience in public practice or business advisory
* Strong tax, compliance and client-facing skills
* Ability to communicate clearly and build relationships
* Australian working rights required
