About the role
Reporting to the Group Director, Technical Services, the role is accountable for the provision of successful educational infrastructure design and standards through research, consultation and effective stakeholder engagement.
The role leads and develops tactical plans and initiatives to provide direction and expert advice on infrastructure standards (design, facilities and operations) and solutions that facilitate leading design, operations, teaching, learning to enable the strategic delivery of the department's goals and commitments.
This is a strategic role that requires strong collaboration approach and the ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders and identify key infrastructure risks to determine appropriate response.
In this role, you will :
Keep pace with a fast paced workplace, anticipate challenges while managing competing and complex priorities that can support and promote resilience of the school infrastructure design, facilities and operations will be key.
Focus on solutions-based industry-leading design and operations, leadership, and clear communication that foster collaboration, drives continuous improvement and integration with digital solutions, and achieves the department's goals and commitments.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have leadership experience and evidence of providing expert advice and direction on infrastructure standards (design, facilities and operations) of major infrastructure programs.
You will also need to possess excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills. You will have experience delivering in designing, teaching and operations to enable the delivery of the Department's goals and commitments. Your proven ability to cultivate and sustain impactful stakeholder relationships is a testament to your expertise.
A talent pool may be created for future ongoing and temporary roles and is valid for a period of up to 18 months. Candidates on a talent pool may be chosen and directly offered employment in other or similar roles (ongoing or term) in the near future.
