It starts here. With Bendigo Bank... and you.
We've never been 'just a bank'. Just like you should never be 'just an employee'. We're united in our belief that in banking, better can be bigger, and together we're making it happen.
The Consumer Banking Division of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank works closely with our key stakeholders – Customers, Staff, Partners, and Investors. Third Party Banking provides home lending and deposit solutions through brokers with our Bendigo Bank Brand and by partnering with brands that consumers trust and value. The Strategy and Performance team acts as the strategic advisory arm for the Third-Party Banking department, focusing on the forward‐looking strategy, pricing, and commercial performance of the portfolio.
As our Senior Analyst, Strategy and Performance, you will act as a key strategic advisor within Third Party Banking. You will support the Manager, Strategy and Performance on strategy development, pricing and pricing discretion, forecasting and driving our performance insights. Moving beyond traditional reporting, your mandate is to translate complex market and portfolio data into compelling narratives. By actively challenging the status quo, you will deliver high‐impact and actionable commercial insights directly to the Third‐Party Banking Leadership team to shape our future growth.
In this dynamic and high‐impact role, you'll make your mark by:
* Translate complex portfolio data into clear insights for decision‐making and create compelling stories for leadership.
* Take full ownership of tracking, analysing, and driving core portfolio performance metrics.
* Actively monitor the Australian home lending market and broader economy to understand competitor behaviour and identify opportunities for the business.
* Develop competitive pricing recommendations tailored for various distribution channels, such as Broker and White Label, and clearly articulate the commercial and financial impacts to internal stakeholders.
* Support the forecasting process for the Third‐Party Banking portfolio.
* Support the development and execution of the Third‐Party Banking distribution strategy. Set and monitor KPIs for business objectives, provide data for strategic discussions, and translate market analysis into strategic narratives and recommendations for the leadership team.
What you'll bring to the role
* Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline.
* Proven experience in a commercially focused strategy, business performance, or analytical advisory role (moving beyond just technical reporting).
* Advanced commercial acumen and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
* Advanced Excel and analytical skills and an ability to turn insights into actions.
* Knowledge of Bank home‐lending policies, procedures, products and services advantageous.
* Experience in the home loan product market or the third‐party (Broker) industry advantageous.
* Experience interacting with people across all levels of the organisation.
This is a full time, permanent role, based in Melbourne, Bendigo or Adelaide.
Benefits
