The Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic and organised Sales Merchandiser to join our sales team. This is a primarily field‐based role covering retail locations across Melbourne Metro and the Western Suburbs, with one day per week at our Dromana site.
You'll report directly to our Key Account Sales Manager and work closely with the broader sales team to keep things running smoothly. You'll use your own vehicle to travel between store locations, with a generous car allowance provided.
What You'll Be Doing
* Merchandising products to ensure displays are well‐presented and commercially effective
* Prompting and supporting team members to place timely orders
* Highlighting seasonal products and promotions to the right people at the right time
* Writing clear and accurate store reports
* Identifying and reporting issues to the Key Account Sales Manager promptly
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in a retail or nursery environment (highly regarded)
* Experience in a merchandising role (highly regarded)
* Current Victorian driver's licence and access to your own reliable vehicle — this role involves regular travel between store locations
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital tools
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to your work
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* A team player who can also work independently
* A genuine interest in plants and horticulture is a bonus — but not essential
