Role

Reporting to the Building Services Manager – Sutherland, you will lead detailed Hydraulic & Fire building services design and documentation on a diverse range of projects.

Responsibilities
* As the Associate Hydraulic & Fire Engineer, you will be responsible for:
* Attending client and stakeholder design meetings
* Managing key projects and coordinating both Hydraulic and MEP design delivery
* Leading tenders and proposals
* Obtaining and preparing detailed project plans, including budgets, time forecasts and resource planning
* Building key client relationships
* Growing and developing a Hydraulic & Fire design team
Qualifications
* A relevant qualification with a Hydraulic Diploma
* A minimum of 8 years' experience working within the Building Services industry, ideally within a consultancy
* Experience with hot and cold water, sewer and gas design
* Solid experience with wet fire systems: hydrants, hose reels and sprinkler system design
* Must be FPAS Accredited in fire sprinkler systems and fire hydrant and hose reel systems
* Strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards and National Construction Code
* Experience in managing multidisciplinary project teams
* Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate information of a complex nature both verbally and in writing with all stakeholders across disciplines, including colleagues and clients
* A personable work approach and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
