About the Role
As part of our installation crew, you'll be hands-on across a wide range of projects—installing, maintaining, and upgrading netting systems for orchards and protected cropping structures. Works include drilling anchors and structural cabling, erecting end assemblies and walls, fitting hail covers and clips, and installing access doors. You'll be operating in outdoor environments using professional equipment across varied sites. Work is up to 40 hours per week, weather permitting, with competitive industry award rates plus travel allowances.
Key Responsibilities
* Install permanent bird and hail netting systems
* Drill anchors and install structural cabling
* Erect end assemblies and net support walls
* Install hail covers, net clips, and net tensioning systems
* Fit man and equipment access doors
* Carry out structural repairs and upgrades
* Operate machinery and elevated work platforms (Hydraladas)
* Use layout tools, laser levels, and cable equipment
* Uphold site safety, quality, and efficiency standards
What We're Looking For
* Background in agriculture, fencing, or construction preferred
* Physically capable with a can-do attitude
* Comfortable working outdoors and at heights
* Valid driver's license (mandatory) and white card (preferred)
* Machinery tickets or Working at Heights certification (advantageous)
