POSITION OBJECTIVE

The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standard.

General Compliance Responsibilities

The Company maintains a Certified Integrated Management System (IMS) driven by Quality, Environment, and Safe Work Policy Statements. Achievement of these objectives forms an essential part of the role and will be reviewed as part of the employee's Training and Development Review.

Safe Work Responsibilities

The Safe Work Policy Statement formalises the organisation's commitment to ensuring the health and safety of employees, stakeholders, and the general public.

Responsibilities Include:
* Ensuring awareness of relevant safety procedures.
* Maintaining a safe workplace.
* Reporting workplace hazards.
* Ensuring correct usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Quality Responsibilities

The Quality Policy Statement formalises the organisation's commitment to delivering cost-effective work to the highest possible quality standards.

Responsibilities Include:
* Maintaining standards and controls to ensure compliance with legislative and legal requirements.
* Following all Company IMS policies and procedures.
* Supporting the Company's commitment to quality customer service.
Environmental Responsibilities

The Environment Policy Statement formalises the organisation's commitment to environmentally sustainable operations.

Responsibilities Include:
* Leading by example with proactive environmental management practices.
* Disposing of waste responsibly and recycling where appropriate.
Specific Responsibilities / Competencies Required
* Adhere to and actively support Company policies and procedures to maintain a safe, efficient, and productive workplace.
* Facilitate the achievement of the Company's corporate goals, vision, mission, and values.
* Assist in implementing standard operating procedures throughout the Company.
* Understand and comply with contractual project requirements as advised by the Contracts Manager.
* Maintain a clear understanding of all contract elements to ensure projects are completed professionally and support long‐term customer relationships.
* Report on project financial performance and manage project resources through accurate forecasting.
* Monitor actual costs against budgeted costs to prevent project over‐expenditure.
* Stay informed on updates to Australian Standards, regulations, legislation, construction techniques, and specifications.
* Follow company's procedures regarding annual leave and reporting sick/carer's leave to the Operations Manager.
* Provide accurate production hours to the Production Manager to assist with fabrication scheduling.
* Plan, monitor, control, and report on multiple project timelines and milestones.
* Provide accurate labour requirements to the Operations Manager to assist with resource programming.
* Manage subcontractor engagement in accordance with Company policies and guidance from the Contracts Manager.
* Manage material purchasing in line with company's procedures and project budgets.
* Ensure all purchasing is transparent within the accounting system.
* Report contract or subcontract compliance issues to the Contracts Manager.
* Report actual completion dates against approved completion dates to the Operations Manager.
* Manage contractual time notices as required.
* Ensure hazards and risk assessments are completed and effective controls are implemented to prevent incidents and injuries.
* Ensure incidents are accurately reported in accordance with Company procedures.
* Oversee sign‐off processes through engineering, shop drawings, fabrication, and installation stages.
* Ensure employees possess the skills required to perform work safely and effectively, with records maintained accordingly.
* Ensure project handovers are completed before commencing annual leave.
* Ensure non‐conformances are identified, recorded, and corrective actions are implemented within agreed timeframes and budgets.
* Evaluate project resource needs and manage material and labour supply against project programmes.
* Ensure staff under supervision are appropriately trained, experienced, and qualified.
* Ensure onsite systems, processes, and procedures are followed and recorded.
* Deliver positive business and financial outcomes through effective project management.
* Lead, motivate, and develop site management personnel.
* Ensure all installed products comply with building codes, standards, and fitness‐for‐purpose requirements.
* Perform other duties as required.
KEY PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
* Project Delivery: Projects delivered within budget and programme milestones.
* Budget GP% vs Actual GP%.
* Customer Satisfaction: Positive customer project experience. Customer Experience Records score above 20 points; repeat and referral business achieved.
* Site Management: Efficient resource utilisation and quality site work completed safely and on time. No project cost overruns; no mid‐project budget adjustments.
* Team Member Development: Support fellow Project Managers in project delivery. Projects achieve agreed budget post‐handover from Estimator.
* Subcontractor Management: Ensure subcontractors deliver quality work safely and on budget. No project cost overruns; subcontractors scored per project (PR04F1).
* Safety: Ensure compliance with site safety requirements and documentation. Completed Risk Assessments, Safety Plans, SWMS, Prestarts, and Toolbox Meetings.
* Quality: Implement standard site plans and procedural compliance. Timely invoice processing, accurate claims, completed ITPs, CAPA closure within schedule.
* Project Management Communication: Attend and contribute to Project Management Meetings.
* Attendance.
* Industry & Product Knowledge: Maintain strong glazing industry and compliance knowledge. Knowledge of BCA, AS1288‐2006, AS2047‐1999, AS1170‐2002, AS4801‐2001, AS1428‐2009.

Qualifications, Training & Development
* Cert III in Glass & Glazing
* QBCC Supervisor Licence
* Cert IV in Project Management
* Cert IV in Workplace Health & Safety
* Proficiency in V6 Software
* Strong numeracy and literacy skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* AS1288 Course Completion
