Key Responsibilities

Deliver a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Work across multiple sites: Sunshine, Footscray, Williamstown, and Bacchus Marsh Hospitals with 24/7 availability.
About You
Successful completion of the Security Guard Unarmed Guard Certificate II course.
Victorian Private Security Individual Licence.
Current Working with Children Check – Employee Status.
Current Workplace First Aid Certificate.
Current Drivers Licence.
Knowledge of Victorian legislation relevant to a Security Officer role.
Knowledge of emergency equipment such as Fire Extinguishers.
Ability to focus on customer service when dealing with staff, patients and visitors.
Strong personal work ethic, initiative and service orientation.
Courteous and professional manner.
Effective communication skills.
Willingness to work under the direction of nursing employees and Management.
Teamwork in multidisciplinary environments.
Self-directed and ability to prioritise workload.
English literacy and numeracy skills in line with Certificate II requirements.
Accurate and concise documentation skills.
High level of physical fitness and personal presentation.
PC skills: Outlook, Word, Excel.
Previous experience in a healthcare environment (desirable).
Previous experience with Security Systems (CCTV and Access Control) (desirable).
Previous experience with Emergency Equipment (Fire Panel) (desirable).
Multi-lingual (desirable).
