Product Line Manager – APAC Region Impact You'll Make
We are currently seeking a strategic Product Line Manager to join our team in the APAC region during a period of business transformation. In this role you will ensure the success of this journey through product line strategy support for our Structures product line.
Responsibilities
In this Senior Leadership position reporting to the Vice President APAC, you will ensure alignment between market needs and company capabilities by managing the full product lifecycle, guiding cross‐functional teams, and delivering a competitive, value‐driven portfolio. Key responsibilities include:
* Develop and execute strategies that support divisional and regional objectives.
* Translate customer, market, and sales insights into product improvements or new product requirements.
* Partner with Sales, Engineering and Operations to ensure effective strategy deployment.
* Provide leadership with analysis of market share, competitive positioning, and win/loss performance.
* Own product line profitability through financial and margin analysis at customer and project levels.
* Develop and implement pricing policies, quote strategies, and commercial positioning.
* Analyse customer data, market potential, and industry trends to provide accurate product forecasts.
* Support marketing plans for product launches and enhancements.
* Represent the product line in addressing customer and market challenges.
* Act as subject matter expert, providing training, tools, and performance feedback to sales teams.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field (preferred).
* Proven experience in product line ownership, commercial management, or strategic sales.
* Strong track record in market analysis, product strategy, and business case development.
* Experience influencing cross‐functional teams and embedding strategy into execution.
* Highly attuned commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to manage product line profitability.
* A well‐developed understanding of data analytics and the ability to demonstrate highly effective data‐driven decision‐making methodologies.
* Persuasively present complex information in a simple way to executive‐level audience.
* Team leadership experience required for new product development teams, large project coordination, and strategic sales teams.
