Nursing Coordinator for Ageing and Disability Service
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Coordinator to join our Ageing and Disability Services team in Gloucester, NSW.
This is a permanent part-time role of 30 hours per week – no nights or weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee clinical governance and support best practice in nursing care.
* Provide direct nursing services to clients where required.
* Manage rostering for RNs, health staff and clients.
* Conduct comprehensive client assessments and develop individualised care plans.
* Monitor, review and update care plans to ensure they reflect changing needs.
* Provide ongoing mentoring and education to staff.
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration.
* Minimum 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse.
* Strong skills in care planning, assessment, and clinical governance.
* The ability to lead a team and work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, clients and families.
* Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
* Driver's licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
* Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain).
* National Criminal History Check (conducted in-house as part of the induction process).
